St. Mary’s Catholic Church 1903 13th Ave in East Moline has been recently blessed with the arrival of Father Alphonso Espino Garcia. Originally from Michoacan, Mexico, Father Alphonso spent years as a pastor in Guanajuato, many of them served in the community of La Magdalena.

Shocked and puzzled. This is the feeling of the Hispanic parishioners of St. Mary’s church in Moline, after their spiritual guide, priest Jerry Pilon was accused of Inappropriate Sexual Conduct with a minor.
