St. Mary’s Catholic Church 1903 13th Ave in East Moline has been recently blessed with the arrival of Father Alphonso Espino Garcia. Originally from Michoacan, Mexico, Father Alphonso spent years as a pastor in Guanajuato, many of them served in the community of La Magdalena.

The need of more masses to help celebrate the Lenten season will be met with new mass times as well as more services to celebrate Ash Wednesday. The people of St. Mary’s East Moline would like to invite all people interested in celebrating this very important season to any of its services.

Services for Ash Wednesday on February 25thare as follows:
 
8:00 am Mass in English
10:00 am Mass in Spanish
12:00 pm Mass in Spanish
3:00 pm Mass in Spanish
5:00 pm Mass in English
7:00 pm Mass in Spanish
 
Beginning Saturday March 28th a 6:30 pm Saturday mass will be celebrated throughout all of Lent.
